Can the columns burst if the pressure gets too high?
No, because the Family Base has a pressure relief valve that opens when the pressure gets too high and lets the air escape.
Can I fold the Family Base while it's wet?
Yes, but if the Family Base is to be stored for an extended period, it should be completely dry and free of organic materials beforehand.
Do I need to take down the Family Base during a storm?
The Family Base should be taken down and stowed safely in strong winds.
Is there a place to hang things in the Family Base?
Yes, there is a height-adjustable carabiner that can be used to hang items such as a lamp weighing up to 3 kg.
What's the best way to clean the Family Base?
Use only warm water and a soft cloth or sponge on the tent fabric. For the PVC windows, use only cleaners that are specifically designed for PVC materials.
Do I need to waterproof the fabric?
If the fabric is used very frequently, it should be treated with a tent waterproofing agent suitable for polyester fabrics before the start of the season.
Can I cook or make a fire at Family Base?
No, the Family Base must not be used near open flames. Campfires, gas stoves, or grills can pose a fire hazard and cause damage.

What should I look for when choosing a parking spot?
Choose your location carefully: Make sure the ground is level and avoid sloping terrain; do not camp in areas prone to flooding, and avoid areas beneath slopes at risk of landslides or near rotten trees. Secure the vehicle to prevent it from rolling away. It’s best to position the roof tent so that the entrance faces away from the wind. In strong winds, secure the roof tent to your vehicle’s wheel rim using the auxiliary strap. Do not leave the roof tent unattended during storms or thunderstorms. Fold it up during a storm or thunderstorm and seek shelter inside your vehicle. Be sure to keep a safe distance from fires and grills.
